Health misinformation, especially on the Internet, is becoming more prevalent every day. Learn how to find reliable and accurate health information online. This hands-on demonstration shows you how to search medical procedures, medications, terminology and other health information using the free online database MedlinePlus, a service of the National Institutes of Health and U.S. National Library of Medicine. Participants may bring a laptop or mobile device to follow along.
The Community Health Resource Section, staffed by a consumer health librarian, is dedicated to meeting the information needs of Greenwich Hospital patients, their families/caregivers, and the community at large.
